Figuora St. 2 Feb 1999 On my way to a meeting in Downtown L.A. I was struck by this view up the Street of the Mt. Wilson area    On a great clear Santa Anna Day, the air was so clear that I could see accross the Mountain range over to Mount Wilson about 25 miles away  Santa Ynez Peak is a little north of Santa Barbara above El Capitan State Beach On this clear day, I could see all seven of the Anacapa Islands off the coast of California This is a view from Sunset Peak, near Clairmont California looking almost due east showing Mount San Gregorino the Second Higest point is California and Mount San Jacinto which over looks Palm Springs Hidden behind the ridge to the left is San Bernardino Sandia Peak, near Albuquerque New Mexico Alt. 10,678
