1998 Newport to Ensenada Race

The 1998 51^st Annual NOSA Newport-to-Ensenada International Yacht Race was a great race with lots of wind thanks to El Nino. Valerie's crew for the race was Fred Pawell, Bob Hubbard, Craig Woolston, Dale McNulty, Barbara Burdick, and Keith Pedersen. Valerie raced in class PHRF-G taking 11^th place in a class of 28 with a corrected time of 13.7419. Even though we placed 11^th, we shaved over three hours off our previous best time (and we won that race, 1995).
