One of my favorite hobbies is yacht racing. I crew on a 41' Ericson, "Valerie," which sails out of the Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club (BCYC) in Corona Del Mar, CA. I generally work mast, but sometimes I work in the cockpit, too. Valerie races in the BCYC Angleman Series, the Balboa Yacht Club Sunkist Series, and the Annual NOSA Newport-to-Ensenada International Yacht Race.

The final deadline to enter the America's Cup 2000 in New Zealand was May 14, 1997. Entering the yacht race by the final deadline were 18 syndicates from 10 countries.
