The 6W Ranch Training Facility:Karen and Student work on the jumps with the beautiful White Mountains for a backdrop to the East.

We have laid out our training area to accommodate the advanced, as well as basic, to the wild horse. For the horses that are still in basic walk, lead, control training, we have the corrals laid out in such a manner that they are on each side of a central alley way.

Each corral opens into the central alley way and blocks the alley way away from the round pen. Once into the alley, if they are not ready to lead, their only avenue is into the round pen. When work is completed, back to the corral via the alley. This eliminates unnecessary battles and is much safer and calming for the animal. Once training is to the point that the animal is ready to leave the round pen, there is a gate out of the round pen and into the arena. The beauty in this design is that at no point is the horse outside of boundaries until we/you think he is ready to transition into the arena. See Below:

Our 50ft. Round pen, 6ft high, safely accommodates horses in training. We have designed this section of the corrals and training round pen with the wild horses in mind. No need to battle, when work is finished in the round pen, they simply trot back into their respective corral.

The arena accomodates jumping, general arena work, barrel races, pole bending, and trail obstacles.Karen and Liberty working in the new Dressage Arena.

Pasture area.

After a good training workout or while just spending some relaxing time with your horse, our pasture area allows both the horse and owner a nice reward for a job well done. The grass is a special hybrid, formulated to the specific protein needs of horses and cattle.

In addition to the round pen for the wild horses and the arena, we have an additional 50ft round pen as well as a 70ft round pen for the more advanced work.
